one of THOSE people

You know those people at work that are full of life and energy... most of the time...

But when it isn't most of the time they are a complete DRAG~~

Sometimes is seems like the people that are the most fun to work with, and the ones that are SO entertaining seem to be the drama creators, rumor spreaders, and sometimes tend to exaggerate to the point of being habitual liars... ya know what I'm talking about??

Just remember:
1-Gossip, backstabbing, complaining, and ignorance all make for a bad work environment.

2- It's NEVER good when one person's attitude determines the mood of your entire workplace.

end of story.

Update on life:

1- The housing market in HomeTown is really awful right now. There are a bunch of foreclosures and lots of homes for sale, so my parents were a little nervous about being able to sell our house. We put it on the market and within a couple hours there were calls to come and see it. Then within 36 hours we had 2 offers-- We sold our house after 4 days on the market. WHAT A BLESSING!

2- BYU did two things right today:

I: Won their first round game in the NCAA tournament for the first time since like '93 or '94 ish.

II: Decided to accept me as a student for the Fall 2010 semester :D
(keep in mind that BYU is my back up if plan A falls through)

3- Plan A is coming along perfectly! I had my second interview with my bishop and everything is going just as planned! The dentist told me that I didn't NEED to get out my wisdom teeth before I left because he didn't foresee them being a problem in the next 2 years.... but I REALLY don't want to be in Nicaragua, Latvia, or even Montana and have to have oral surgery-- no thanks! So we're going to call and get an appointment to have those out sometime before I leave. Other than that I am on track to turn in my mission papers on the 6th of May-- exactly 3 months before my 21st birthday!

4- Kla is getting married :D YEAH! She is like the planning wiz and has everything pretty much set. She texted me a week or so ago and said "So you know how Bo and I weren't going to do that whole bridesmaid/groomsman thing? Well we decided to so do you want to be my Maid of Honor??".. and I of course I said DEFINITELY! ... then something kind of dawned on me and I texted her again and said "Who is the Best Man?? Brazil??" and sure enough he is (not that that is a surprise at all.. they're brothers from different mothers) ha ha ha We all just kind of find it strangely ironic and funny! But no worries Brazil and I are totally fine with each other! I think it's going to be a TON of fun! Can't wait Kla!!!

Well I think that's it for know. I'm exhausted and I am going comatose for at least the next 9 hours.

Peace out world--

The News --- 10 years in the making

Have you ever met my family?? I'm pretty sure I've never officially introduced them to you so here's a quick intro before we get into the rest of the post :DWell there they are! Everyone in my family has a nickname of some sort, but it is either too close to their actual name, or else it's in a different language.. (we made it up--don't worry about it!) Anywhooo there they are :D and I love them with all my heart.

Yes we have 5 girls in my family and don't say "Oh your poor Dad!" because he loves us. He has a clean house- cooked meals- backrubs (but only from me and that's why I'm his favorite ;) no but really. He loves his life and when he needs to get away he goes golfing and does yardwork... you know--manly crap. But we are all avid football fans-- and watch pretty much any sport. Except Soccer because my dad is ridiculous and doesn't understand TRUE futball :D We watch ESPN on a daily basis [usually PTI]. He is also a Seinfeld guru. He has seen every episode multiple times and quotes it all the time because "it relates to everyday life!". He currently works as an LDS institute teacher in Hometown. I go to his classes 3 times a week and love him not only as a dad but also as a teacher because he's an amazing teacher.

Almost exactly 11 years ago we were living in CollegeTown (side note: the reason Sass and I both attend school in CollegeTown is because that is where we lived for a while and it's also the town where my dad was born and raised, so it's not only CollegeTown but it's where our roots are...) my parents sat the 3 of us [then] down at the kitchen table and told us that we had been asked to move to {HomeTown}.. a couple hours away. I thought my world had crashed. My and Sporty Spice would be away from each other for the first time since we were like 2. I remember the emptiness that hung inside me as we drove to {HomeTown} and I remember crying myself to sleep that night. I was 9.

Every year since then we've held our breath from Feb-April in hopes that we aren't asked to move again. We only had one scare... I was a Sophmore and Brazil and I had just started dating. My parents told me that there was a definite chance that we'd be moving to Rexburg, ID. I remember telling Brazil and we were both SO upset {lol kinda ridiculous considering we'd been dating like 2 months but what do you do} But the results came back Negative for moving so I was ecstatic! The years have passed. The three oldest have grown and graduated in this town. I consider it my HomeTown. The town I grew up in.

Last Night I sat at the kitchen table like I did 11 years ago, but this time it was Me, Padre, Momma, The Funny One, and Youngest. I knew what was coming-- I'd known for about a week but had to keep my mouth shut and I watched the faces of my two younger sisters as the realization sunk in and they realized they'd be leaving everything they've ever known. I cried when I remembered how it felt.

My dad was asked to be the Area Director of our part of the state, so eventho HomeTown will be part of his area, the office is in CollegeTown. So it's back to our roots we go! From now on CollegeTown will be referred to as RootTown and come June/July we'll be gone.

So what does this mean for me?? I dunno really! Everything depends on anything. We move depending on when we sell our house and buy one.. Then depending on when my mission departure date is depends on whether I'll try to find someone in HomeTown to bum with or whether I'll just move to RootTown and try to get my job back as a waitress at Wingers... Crikey!

One thing is for sure though. My parents KNOW that this is the right move for us. and it's tough. But Elder Richard G. Scott said in the October Conference: "Spirituality yields two fruits. The first is inspiration to know what to do. The second is power, or the capacity to do it." We'll be ok. My little sisters will find friends and a place to belong. God knows all :D
